Flexible, waterproof and robust: The Merger GTX Junior VCR by LOWA effort­lessly meets all the key requirements for a multi­func­tional chil­dren’s shoe.

From easy entry and exit – child’s play thanks to the Velcro fastener and elastic laces – to the bevelled heel edge and the discreet rocker shape of the sole for improved rolling prop­erties. The sporty hybrid model is tailored specifically to the anatomical requirements of chil­dren’s feet. The directly injected midsole made of LOWA DynaPU® provides good cush­ioning and optimal comfort.

The shoe’s deep-tread outsole provides the good traction that wearers need, and the unique crossover Stability Frame creates the necessary stability. The durable ripstop upper with breathable Gore-Tex® lining tops everything off by keeping feet reliably dry.

• Stability Frame: With the LOWA-Monowrap® frame, the midsole provides the very best comfort. This three-dimensional midsole design was developed by LOWA in 1995. The frame comfortably cradles the foot and supports it when the shoe wearer ventures across uneven surfaces. The sole design is slightly raised for shoes with a Stability Frame
• Double Injection: The double-layer midsole is directly injected onto the footwear. The layers include carefully coordinated degrees of rigidity to create the best-possible comfort. To provide effective cushioning and improved comfort, the sole of is bonded to the upper in a technically demanding injection process. The upper boot is placed into a specially designed mould. Various layers of PU-foam padding are then poured into it. In the process, the sole and upper are bonded together
• Kids Last: Lasts specially adapted to the anatomy of children's feet. These lasts are not simply mini-versions of the lasts used for adults’ feet. They have been specially modified to reflect the anatomy of children's feet and reduced in size. In addition, the height and width of the heel, toe and instep areas have been modified
