The Fedaia Alpine Wool Jacket by SALEWA is a men’s warm, hybrid wool-blend hooded jacket with stylish detailing.

The Fedaia men’s Jacket by SALEWA is named after the iconic Dolomites mountain pass of the same name. It features a lightweight, warm, hybrid Sarner knit fabric made with post-consumer recycled wool that combines traditional alpine heritage with contemporary styling and cutting-edge performance.

Sarner knit tradition & innovation

SALEWA combines tradition and innovation by blending the South Tyrolean Sarner knit construction based on a traditional woolmaking technique to give a dense fabric that is warmer and more resistant to wind and rain with SALEWA® modern fabric technology. The resulting lightweight AlpineWool® Iconic Sarner blend offers the benefits of natural wool and the stylish look and feel of traditional Sarner workmanship, only in a softer, lighter high-performance package. Its hybrid yarns are made of wool, viscose and polyamide with elastane. 100% of the wool is made from recycled wool yarns.

Bodymapped comfort and protection

At the front upper torso, a waterproof panel in our innovative Powertex Wool 2-layer, laminated weatherproof fabric with integrated wool yarns and a PFC-free durable water repellent (DWR) finish adds a further level of comfort and protection. At the body, on the inside, we back it with a bonded, soft and comfortable viscose lining and an inner collar for enhanced protection from cold mountain winds. At the arms, breathabilty and freedom of movement are key, and we deploy AlpineWool® Iconic Sarner fabric without using any backing.

Functional details

The Fedaia has a tailored hood, two zipped outer pockets, a zipped chest pocket that is the ideal place to store your wallet and lightweight, stretch bindings on the hood, cuffs and hem.
