The combination of extremely strong and sophisticated materials, together with GRIVEL's advanced technology lie behind the realisation of the Air Tech Light New Classic EVO crampon, which leaves all the other models on the market far behind.
It features ten points in contact with ice while you’re walking and twelve that bite into the slope during traverses. The last two front points are bi-angular to maintain bite when descending or traversing sideways. Even the soles of the most modern boots are perfectly covered.
The Air Tech Light by GRIVEL has been designed for ski touring, competitive ski mountaineering, classical mountaineering routes and for high altitude or distant expeditions where weight is the determining factor.

EVO System:
The EVO bindings by GRIVEL are a significant improvement of the crampons that were previously on the market.The strap became much narrower, thinner and lighter. After putting on the crampon, it no longer needs to be knotted at the front. Instead of the two rings where the strap was previously pulled through to the front and then knotted, you now have a small buckle on the EVO models: The strap goes through thit buckle to the back of the crampon. Instead of knotting, it is then simply pulled through the intended opening on the lever at the back.
New-Classic System:
The New Classic is an evolution of the Classic binding. Both front and rear plastic harnesses are hinged from their respective retention posts and may be "opened" to facilitate attachment to the boot, then closed securely once the boot is inside. The single strap closure system is so simple we may not need to provide instructions; the New Classic is therefore ideal for rental programs and first time users. This system is simple and reliable, quick and easy, but it does take up a bit more space in the rucksack.

For bulky goods we calculate the actual costs as surcharge fee for each product. Bulky goods can be recognized by an additional labeling in the product selection, indicating a shipping rate in the prefix, which will be added as an additional charge for the product in the cart. You never pay more than indicated in your shopping cart. Partial delivery causes no additional costs within EU countries and Switzerland; please enter a phone number where you are reachable during the day.
Orders are shipped only when all previous deliveries already have been paid.
