The Dyneema Tentcord by EXPED is a tent cord with integrated reflective yarn.

The core of the tent guylines by EXPED is made of Dyneema, a high-tech fiber with perfect properties for guylines. Based on its mass Dyneemas tensile strength of 140 kg/ 400 lbs which is 15 x greater than steel, 5 x higher than Nylon and 40% stronger than Kevlar. Dyneema is so light that it floats and has a high resistance to abrasion, humidity, UV radiation and chemicals.

The Dyneema Tentcord by EXPED is static and will not stretch as wind force increases. This reduces vibration of the tent, pegs from being pulled free and damage to tent poles. It is supple enough to allow knots to be tied. Reflective thread has been woven into the the mantle to increase visibility at night.

Delivery times:

We deliver by DHL within 1-3 business days to your home address in Germany and within 3-5 business days to addresses in other European countries. Shipping insurance is always included. Shipping overseas takes around 2-3 weeks with standard service. The delivery times to other countries will be indicated individually.

Because of the relatively small factory inventories at outdoor clothing collections, we can not guarantee for constant availability of all parts of our online collection. You can contact us via email or phone before your order to ask us about the current availability. In case of delivery delays we will inform you via e-mail, fax or telephone. Shipments to mailboxes are not possible.

Great Britain (GB), Germany (DE), Austria (AT), Switzerland (CH): Free shipping delivery. Returns from all countries except Germany have to be paid by the customer.

Non-EU countries and Switzerland: Please refer to table published in our shipping policy. For shipments overseas an additional delivery is not possible. Returns have to be paid by the customer.

For bulky goods we calculate the actual costs as surcharge fee for each product. Orders are shipped only when all previous deliveries already have been paid.
