The Trail Storm Insuloft Alpha Shorts by SCOTT for women are made with an active Polartec® Alpha® Direct insulation that is wind-resistant and breathable. An adjustable waistband and comfortable stretch fabric ensure maximum comfort while a durable waterproof panel on the seat area keeps you dry. A zippered phone pocket in the front keeps your phone secure while shredding the trails.
- Polartec® Alpha®: The first high- performance fabric to introduce the concept of active insulation. The low-density fibers between air-permeable woven layers create a more efficient fabric for regulating warmth and transferring moisture, which speeds up drying times.
- DRYOsphere: DRYOsphere fabrics provide a waterproof/breathable barrier from the elements. A shield against water and wind, DRYOsphere fabric also allows for water vapor to escape from the body, keeping you dry and comfortable in any condition.
- C0 DWR or PFC-free: Perfluorinated and polyfluorinated compounds, also known as PFCs, are a group of fluorinated substances that have long been used as durable water repellence for clothing in the outdoor industry. They are very bad for the environment because they are very stable, and do not easily break down in nature. Therefore, PFC free/ C0 DWR treatments have been developed. They are less durable but more sustainable.
