The Spire GTX Surround by LA SPORTIVA is a new generation low cut shoe for quick hiking.
The Spire GTX Surround shoe uses solutions that are part of LA SPORTIVA's Mountain DNA, combining technologies and concepts that derive from Mountain Running and Mountain for a versatile, waterproof and super breathable product thanks to the use of the new Gore-Tex® Surround® technology.
The Spire GTX Surround by LA SPORTIVA is a new generation shoe for, fast hiking. It adopts solutions that are part of La Sportiva’s mountain DNA combining technologies and concept derived from the Mountain Running and Mountain categories to create a versatile, waterproof and 360° breathable shoe thanks to the new Gore-Tex® Surround® technology: the exclusive membrane that guarantees 360° breathability thanks to the wider aeration surface that comprises the uppers, footbed and EVA midsole with side ventilation outlets in TPU. The aeration channels visible along the profile of the midsole, are protected by an extremely resistant Nylon mono net, to prevent stones and other impurities from entering the ventilation outlets.
The mid cut uppers use the Nano-Cells 2.0™ structure ; super breathable cells that work in synergy with the Gore-Tex® Surround® membrane to provide unprecedented levels of breathability. The lower part of the boot incorporates the Stability control System™, a stabilizing control system that integrates the ventilation outlets with the Gore-Tex® Surround® technology. The Vibram XS Trek outsole provides excellent grip on hard, soft and muddy terrain. The Spire GTX Surround by LA SPORTIVA offers all round breathability and comfort is guaranteed.
- Gore-Tex® Surround™: Hiking shoes engineered with Gore-Tex® Surround™ product technology are designed for outdoor use in moderate to warmer conditions. They offer enduring waterproof protection and optimum breathability all around the foot. Moisture and warmth also escape through the Gore-Tex® membrane into the open structure of the“spacer” – and from there out of the shoe via side ventilation outlets. The result is faster sweat removal rate, keeping your feet dry and comfortable even at higher temperatures.
- Nano-Cells 2.0™: The LA SPORTIVA Mountain Hiking line uses the exclusive Nano-Cells™ technology: breathable cells wrap around the uppers providing structure and allow humidity to be expelled during the dynamic phase.

Because of the relatively small factory inventories at outdoor clothing collections, we can not guarantee for constant availability of all parts of our online collection.
